Bio
Lesley Crewe is a storyteller, screenwriter and author of six novels, including Relative Happiness, which was short-listed for the Margaret and John Savage First Book Award. Although born in Montreal a hundred years ago, Homeville, Cape Breton is where she lives with her retired husband, two crazy cats and a murder of crows. Her kids have flown the coop.
She got into writing as a way to avoid housework and has been on a diet for 56 years, but has had no success. She likes to walk, talk and read, and loves to collect old children’s books.
